Forbes Medi-Tech Inc., Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, has made several changes in the company’s operations and management structure. Under the re­structuring, Forbes has moved all of its research programs out of its laboratory facility and will now outsource its re­search to selected universities and contract research organizations. The re-structuring enables Forbes to reduce its total headcount from 35 to 17, with several changes being made within the senior management group. Dr. Tanya Lukic has been promoted to vice president, scientific affairs, Laura Wessman has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president, business development and Patricia Pracher has been promoted to corporate controller.
